These Clarks boots are so comfy, I can wear them all day without any foot fatigue. Just right heel height, nice quality leather and just enough subtle detail to make them interesting. Also, the calf opening is generous with a built-in stretch panel for women like me who have athletic legs and usually cannot zipper up. I am very picky about what I can wear as I have had foot surgeries. (bunionectomies) I have a wide foot with a high arch. I bought an 8W. The toe area is very roomy. The heel is a little loose but I am wearing very thin socks. These feel good and look good. I wear a "Good Feet" arch support inside but they feel good even without the extra support. I also tend to have large calves and these fit fine.
