Not the best quality boot, but not the worst either. Something similar to what I would expect to purchase in a Target store, I guess. That being said, $59.99 is entirely too high of a price for this product. They do look good with jeans, tights, leggings, or alone. Unlike another reviewer, I had no problem getting the boot zipped even over a pair of jeans. I don't have stick person calves either, and I didn't have a problem with them staying up. The only problem I DO have with the quality are the soles. They are covered with some sort of felt-like stuff and are VERY slippery on hard floors. The size runs large, the quality is just fair for the price and to top it off, I saw the exact same boot in the same exact box at a shop in Chinatown, NYC for 25$ less than what I paid. ! I had already returned mine but I was doubly glad when I saw them so drastically reduced. They were way too soft to stay up on your leg, and beware ladies--if you even have average size calf's, these boots will not fit! I have worn them practically every day this winter...the style is super cool, the height is great (all the way to my knee and i am 5'7"), and they are comfortable...that being said, i DID put insoles into them b/c i have foot issues and i wanted a little more support...they aren't exactly "dressy", though i have worn them with dresses...but, they are great over leggings or jeans...for the money, they were a great investment and i have definitely gotten my money's worth! |
